Since January, staff of the Texas Student Housing Authority has considered over 800 total applications for new scholarships and scholarship renewals. Over 400 scholarship offers have been extended to our applicants. Some applicants have not responded to offers due to personal considerations or financial reasons. As a result, we have subsequently offered scholarships to other deserving and qualified applicants who are next on our priority list. Through this process we have been able to award up to 200, $2,500 per year, incremental housing scholarships to deserving graduates of Texas High Schools.
